There is absolutely no denying that Aamir Khan is one of the most influential personalities in Bollywood and has a massive fan following on his social media. While the actor only joined Instagram a year ago, he already has 2.8 million followers on it, and more than 25 million followers on Twitter. He has the power to influence so many people and also often takes to his social media to talk about important issues and matters of social importance. His show Satyamev Jayate also touched on important issues and aimed to empower citizens by making them aware and urging them to take some action. Now, Aamir Khan highlighted a very important social issue- mental health.
In India, mental health is often not taken seriously and is one important issue that more people should be talking and discussing it to create awareness. Now, on World Mental Health Week 2019, Aamir Khan took to his Instagram to share a note in which he mentioned about the importance of mental health and emotional hygiene. World Mental Health Day is celebrated on October 10 and the week before that is World Mental Health Week. Aamir Khan, in his Instagram post, wrote, "Emotional hygiene is as important as Physical hygiene. Being aware and sharing difficult emotions relieves stress. Physical exercise also can beat stress. Meanwhile, on the work front, Aamir Khan will next be seen in Lal Singh Chaddha and the film is helmed by Advait Chandan and is produced by Viacom18 Studios and Aamir Khan Productions. The movie is slated to hit the theatres during Christmas. Aamir Khan also recently shared that he had been eyeing this project for 8 years now, and is thrilled that Lal Singh Chaddha is finally happening.
